TRA^VERSE - Under Riding, Over Arching   

30 MAY - 2 JUNE 2013 at Oxford Castle Quarter - 5pm start (with Preview performances from 4.30pm)

With an ever growing reputation for its large outdoor performances, Dancin’ Oxford’s spectacle event of 2013 features Crossover Dance Projects’ Tra^verse; an exciting new dance work featuring an international cast of over 150 dancers from Japan and Oxford in a specially choreographed work by Cecilia Macfarlane, accompanied by live music. Performed in promenade, the dancers will take their audience through the castle grounds, delighting and entertaining whilst exploring the bridges we make between cultures and art forms. The international company features professional and community dancers.

Moving With The Times

Elly would like to invite you to see her revamped and redeveloped piece It'll Turn Up on her new company Ellyfish & Things at Pegasus Theatre on the 1st and 2nd March 2013 at 7.30pm.
If you saw my solo at No Stone Unturned last year, you'll be pleased to see the happiness theme is the same but with the addition of three beautiful professional dancers and some new sections and ideas added to the mix!

Happy New Year and Welcome back to OYD the Uthers, Slipstream and OYD Co.
Hope you all had a wonderful festive period and are now getting back to normal (and having fun in the Snow!!)
We have  a performance to look forward to on March 15th at the Ark-T centre, looking forward to seeing everybody dance together again.

New Term Start Dates

Hello Everyone!
Welcome to a sunny start to the term, hope you've all had a brilliant Summer holiday!
Slipstream starts on Monday 17th September at the usual time of 5-7pm
Remember to spread the word to any friends who might be interested.
Oxford youth dance classes return on Saturday mornings from the 22nd September.
Looking forward to seeing everyone for some sunny autumn dancing, hope the lovely weather continues!

Well Done The Uthers and Slipstream!

Congratulations to The Uthers and Slipstream for a really lovely performance last night. To a packed house raising loads of money for Pegasus, they joined Tac-au-Tac Dance Theatre, Oxford Youth Ballet and of course Oxford Youth Dance Company.
It was a heartwarming show with some beautiful work, Thanks to Joelle Pappas for inviting us to perform!

Hi All,
We received the wrong info about the start time of the show on the 28th June, the performance begins at 7.00pm NOT 7.30pm as stated in the previous post and in your letter/email! Please note this time if performing/coming to the show.
Could dancers please aim to arrive back at pegasus by 6.45pm at the very latest to get backstage.
